Hoosgot (pronounced "Who's Got...") is a simple way to ask who's got what you're looking for. Just put "hoosgot" in a blog post or a Twitter tweet and it'll show up here in Hoosgot.

"Mobile phone provider 3 has launched a new handset that will allow users to make free calls over the internet via telephony service Skype.
Users will also be able to use Skype's instant messaging service, 3 said.
But while people using Skype on their computers are able to make cheap global calls to any phone number, this will not be possible via the new 3 handset."

"Mark Zuckerberg has announced today, at the Tech Crunch 40, that the investors at Facebook have created a 10 million dollar fund to support companies that develop on the FaceBook platform.

The fund is open for application to existing developers as well as start ups. They are looking for ideas that are innovative and disruptive. No formal web site exists; however, you can pitch your idea directly at platform@facebook.com."

This looks really cool: an open platform for creating massively multiplayer virtual worlds. Objects in the games you make--like characters, buildings, flowers, whatever--have the ability to talk talk and post to the web, so they could export rss feeds, or pull in links from delicious, and that sort of thing.

I've signed up for an alpha account but haven't heard word yet. I'm interested in seeing how you develop for the platform and how open it really is.
