There is absolutely no need to tweak Feisty since it runs very well with the default installation. BUT there are some things that can be done to make it run just a little bit faster and smoother.

KeyJnote is a program that displays presentation slides. But unlike OpenOffice.org Impress or other similar applications, it does so with style. Smooth alpha-blended slide transitions are provided for the sake of eye candy, but in addition to this, KeyJnote offers some unique tools that are really useful for presentations. Read below if you want to know more about these features.

Creating presentations for KeyJnote is very simple: You just need to export a PDF file from your presentation software. This means that you can create slides in the application of your choice and use KeyJnote for displaying them. If your application does not support PDF output, you can alternatively use a set of pre-rendered image files – or you use KeyJnote to make a slideshow with your favorite photos.

Adobe is announcing plans to open source Flex under the Mozilla Public License (MPL). This includes not only the source to the ActionScript components from the Flex SDK, which have been available in source code form with the SDK since Flex 2 was released, but also includes the Java source code for the ActionScript and MXML compilers, the ActionScript debugger and the core ActionScript libraries from the SDK. The Flex SDK includes all of the components needed to create Flex applications that run in any browser - on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux and on now on the desktop using “Apollo”.
