I was pretty impressed with Kanye West's new music video which retells the anime classic, Akira, to the audio backdrop of Daft Punk's "Stronger." Kanye plays the part of Tetsuo, the emotionally unstable youth who is struggling to manage an increasing power that is out of his control.

The mashup works extremely well, though I would have loved to see Tetsuo's signature uncontrolled mutations instead of popular music's obligatory uncontrolled hot dancing woman.

Kinda cool interface, you can sort by alphabet, genre, etc. However, I bet I could find almost all of these on Youtube.

Stereogum has posted a glimpse of the new instrumental album. The reviews are pretty mixed. Check it out.

ok so it was always rumored that if you playedd "Stairway to Heaven" in reverse you could hear satanic messages. Well, here it is. You decide. And I promise its not one of those lame flash movies that scream and scare the hell out of you.

Watch and ponder as the quotidian flurry contextualizes passers-by so strongly that they don't even notice Joshua Bell (renowned and *very* high-bill violinist) is playing for them right in the metro! If you like, check my reponse: http://www.orble.com/violins-and...

GoChongo is a new social network that is trying to connect producers with performers. Once performers sign up for a produce the general members get to vote on which of performer should go with which producer. Kinda MySpace meets American Idol.
